My first 24 hours!!!

To Jamaica!!
So Friday night, we get to edmonton... Visit my parentals and have some supper. After that, drop off the cat and head over to meet Dre and Mels new bundle of joy! So cute! Go back to blakes parents and then head to the airport!
Once at the airport it's been smooth sailing since. In the air and in about... 2 hours we will be landing in Mo Bay! Blake has been chatty with a passenger(Sheldon) who was in Canada visiting his family and now he's heading back home. He's a nice guy. I've been napping on and off. :) 

... Bus ride to the resort now. I'm so tired. The ride is crazy!!! He's speeding past people and not signaling and we aren't wearing seat belts. It's all good though. I'm very excited!!!

In Jamaica!!
Arrived at the resort!! It's soo beautiful!!! We headed up to our room and checked everything out. Everyone is super friendly and nice and calling everyone mon haha. Soon we are going to supper. Buffet style. But I'm rediculously tired so I think after supper it's bedtime. :)

So. What's new?

Work has been good. I met the founder of the company today. He was pretty quiet. I probably talked to him once today, and that was because he was introduced to me. Haha. I've been learning lots of stuff still. I just learned invoicing! :D I think that Vinnie is pretty happy having me around. I make a few misktakes, but it's nothing he can't fix... haha. :P But I'm definitely still enjoying my time there. :D

Working out has been going... I dunno how well, but it's going. I haven't weighed myself in awhile and I don't feel like I've lost any weight. But at least I've been eating healthier... and I'm still sore from my run the other day! *cross your fingers for me... 22 more sleeeps till Jamaica!!!! :P

In other awesome news.... I got a call from my friend Rachel on Friday. She asked me to be her bridesmaid! I'm very very excited for this. I can't wait till April 2011 now. :D Blake and I are going to be in their wedding party. Dan and Rachel have picked this castle looking place for the wedding, and the colors, and the location (BC!). It's going to be awesome. Either way... I'm going to have to start saving some money for the trips there to help pick out a wedding dress and dresses for the bridesmaids... :D

I went to a wicked awesome card making party at Karen's. I love making them even though I can't really afford to buy any of the stuff... I also can't wait for Amanda's card making party.... I hope that's still happening, because I'm pretty sure she's going to be busy with moving out!:D

Hmm.... so this weekend I want to watch my Transformers 2 Blu Ray!! I bought it on Tuesday when I also purchased the New Moon Soundtrack (which is amazing and came with a wicked awesome clip from the movie)  and it comes with cool holographic thing too. :D I'm probably going to have a Transformers weekend. I watched this wicked video yesterday on youtube. Here's the link!

Anyways... I'm going to watch The Office. It's already hilarious!!! :D

Wow Time Flies.

So. It's been awhile. This is the first entry of October too and it's already the 9th. So.. what have I been up too.

Hmmm... We just booking a trip to JAMAICA! :D I'm so excited the place looks gorgeous! It's a couples resort there called Couple Tower Isle. All Inclusive and so many other goodies. We are so excited. We joined the public forum on the website (http://www.couples.com/) and have been talking to people that are going to be there at the same time as us. :D So time to start working out. I want to lose like 20 lbs, but will be happy if I lose 10 lbs by the time our trip happens so cross your fingers for me. :D

The only sucky thing is....

Blake and I are going the same time that Matt Good is suppose to be coming to Calgary (that I was so excited to get tickets for) and the same week that New Moon premieres. But it ain't no thing. I have given the tickets to my sister and her boyfriend and they are happy to take them (at least Tobin was) and I'll catch him another time AND! I bought tickets to New Moon on the Monday just in case it's retarded and we can't get tickets, which might end up happening. :D

In other news, Blake and I have basically been homebodies. Watching movies (Last House on the Left, Monsters vs. Aliens, and Away We Go), eating in, knitting (lots for Karen and going to start doing some for Amanda), playing video games (we bought the new Wii Fit Plus game). We have been trying to save money because going up to Edmonton is always expensive no matter who we see or what we do, and now that we have the trip to save for it's even more reason for us to be saving. :D But it's to Edmonton this weekend for Thanksgiving! Turkey on Saturday, Blake parents and Sunday, my parents. I made the best looking (I say looking because I have yet to taste) cupcakes for the weekend. I'm excited to try them. Blake has and he is happy with them so there ya go. :D

Anyways. Time to get back to work for a couple hours. Woo!

One of these weekends... I'd actually like to relax.

That was definitely not the case this past weekend.

Friday I was at work. My last day alone without Vinnie. Thank goodness he's back this week. Too much pressure when I'm by myself. After work, we went to the football game. It was actually so much fun. I didn't think it would be because I don't really care either way if BC Lions win or Calgary Stampeders win. But Calgary won. So at least the atmosphere was enjoyable. That and we had really terrific seats. Courtesy of Blake's co worker Harold. He has had the seats for I think he said 25 years. Crazy huh?

The traffic afterwards however was unbearable. The police were running the show because for some reason the lights were out. Lame. Oh well. We ended up getting home at 1130. Then passing out.

Saturday. I slept in. Yup. :D Till 1030/1040.. somewhere in between there I woke up. That was awesome. I did some laundry and by the time I was finished that.... well... it was time to head to Okotoks. We were going to go to this Rider Day thing at a pub there. But they ended up cancelling it this year. Oh well. No big deal. We ended up watching the game and drinking a few pilsners at Chris' house there. Lots of fun. The Roughriders ended up winning that game too. So all in all for sports. The teams that I would have liked to win.. did! :D

After the game we went for greasy bar food at the George there. I wish I had taken a picture. It looked exactly like Cheers. It even had a staircase for Kelsey Gramer to come down. Haha.

After the bar we headed back to Chris' place and Brandy and me ended up watching Chris and Blake play House of the Dead or something like that. I ended up having a nap. :P

By the time we got home it was 1130 again. Haha. Blake was tired... (from drinking) so he passed out. But I stayed up and watched SNL. Megan Fox was actually funny, and U2 totally broke the rules. You could tell that they were suppose to cut down their songs but Bono was like.. "No mate. I'm playing all night long." - or something along those lines. I made more dish cloths. :D It only takes me an hour and a half to make one now. :D I'm a fast knitter. :D

Also in other news, Mandy left for Vegas! I just hope she is having a wicked awesome time. But of couse she is because not only is she going with her bestest friend, she also is seeing Britney Spears. I hope she has taken lots of pictures. :D I'll find out when she comes home on Saturday... or more than likely I'll find out when she is alive on Sunday. Haha.

Sunday was awesome. Blake and I went grocery shopping. Came home and cleaned the house. Then we made dinner really early so that we could nibble on it all night. It's Blake's favourite thing to do if your wondering. We made scallop potatoes and ham and creamed corn. Yum! Then I made brownies. :D They turned out perfectly. They had just come out of the oven when our friends Dan and Rachel (the ones who moved to Victoria) came over. They had a race in Banff this weekend and Rachel has a citizenship test this week. Actually today. So hopefully she passes it! :D Good Luck Rach!

But the really awesome thing that happened this weekend was Rach and Daniel...... GOT ENGAGED THIS WEEKEND! It was such a cute story. He got up in front of a bunch of people on a mic and asked her to marry him. I was in tears when I heard this. It is so awesome for them.. Plus when I heard that he got the ring even before they headed out to Victoria that was just awesome. Back in May or something like that. :D

So besides the story of their engagement, we ended up playing Beatles Rockband all night. I got to play the drums finally. So much fun. I wish we had a really drum seat though. I think that's all we need and then we are set.

blah blah blah.. what's new? :D

Time: approx. 3:00 pm
A week has passed. Whooo hoo right? Well I've been at my place of work for a month now. Yay!

It's been grand. Everyone I work with is super nice and they don't care that I don't know what is really going on yet. Everyone is still willing to help me out to try and figure things out. But it's mostly the accounting stuff that I have trouble with. But I think I'm getting the hang of things. :D My boss took the week off so that must mean that he trusts me to do things correctly. Let hope that I don't let him down.

So, this past weekend was fun. Specifically Friday. I went Thrifting with Amanda. I spent a bit of money and came back with some gems I think! We went to Goodwill, then to Walmart (not really thrifting there but I did get some things), then to VV Boutique. Blake was jealous that I went without him because he loves going thrift shopping. Next time I'll have to go with him. So, I'll hopefully I'll be able to account of everything I bought on my little shopping trip.

At Goodwill I found the book Hamlet (never read it but it's got all the good lines). I got a plain frame that was never used (really nice wood), a couple cat dishes. Total cost:$6.

At Walmart I picked up a shit ton of wool and knitting needles. I was crafting this weekend as well. Check it out! Total cost:$28. (There is more wool, I just haven't finished making them all. :D)

And finally at VV Boutique, I got a couple shirts for Blake, a shirt for his step dad Paul, a really cute kitty frame, a bread knife that was still in the package, so it's all good. And a cute pig statue. Total cost there $35.00.

I guess I progressively got into spending more money. I had a lot of fun. I'd definitely go and do that again. I like finding treasures!

Saturday. Blake and I went shopping. We got Wolverine! So good. We watched it that night! I can't wait to put it on my phone (we also got the digital copy)!! :D I got the Vampire Diaries book! I have already finished the first book. I can't wait for the 2nd. I'm going to go out and buy it when I get a pay cheque! It's definitely different then the show. Like.. the only thing that really is the same is the character names. But that doesn't really bother me. I kinda like it. I don't know how they decided to change it so much.. but it does make for good TV. :D

Sunday was a good lazy day. We went grocery shopping and then we came home and mostly chilled the day away. :D My favourite!

Then we watched the Prime Time Emmy Awards. I don't really remember watching them before, but Blake and I like a good award show on Sunday. They go at the perfect pace. :D It's not hard to keep up and it's not a big deal to miss it either... unless it's the MTV VMA's. Haha.

Monday was a very tired day at work. I was glad to go home. But I didn't end up sleeping like I wanted to when I got home. I watched OTH and then Gossip Girl. I also checked out the CBS line up. Two and a Half Men, Big Bang Theory, and How I Met Your Mother were their hilarious selves. Accidentally on Purpose was actually hilarious! Ah... TV. Damn you.

Tuesday was good. I got all my work done pretty early in the day so of course the day took for ever! But at least I was able to just browse the Internet. I didn't even think about updating because... I knew that I was going out that night with Kimi!

I picked her up from her hotel... that was conveniently located right near my work. It wasn't out of the way or anything. :D So Then we go back to our place and we had a couple beers, and then set out to go to supper on 17th at an italian restaurant. It was really too bad that we had a shitty waiter. He was paying more attention to the table beside us. He only filled up my water glass once and then at the end of the night he gave us the wrong bill! Dick. So needless to say... on our bill that was about $100, he didn't get tipped very well. :P That's what you get for being a jerk to former waitresses. But at least we had good conversations and that's all that mattered. Plus, Kimi really needed to vent about her dumb as bricks co worker. Haha. I feel sorry for her that she had to go back and hang out with her last night (they had to share a room) and then have to drive home with her today. :P BUT! At least she's going home to be with Cailyn!

Today was good too. I got everything done early again... and I played games till noon. :D I didn't have any book to read :(. I can't believe I forgot it at home. Katie gave me all these books to read and I have only gotten half way through 1.. when I realized what time it was last night and then had to stop. I really want to go out and get the 2nd book of Vampire Diaries though. They end so dumb that you really have to keep on reading just so that you know what happens next! And SO I did! I hit up Walmart @ lunch and then on my way home I hit up the HMV and now I have all the books. I have to wait though 2 more to come out. 2010 and 2011 are when the next book are due out. Ugh. How depressing. I hate when people do that. They are probably already made but they think that they would sell better if they came out at different time. Well... probably but still. I want them already!!!

So, I got home and checked the mail..... Drive Me Crazy came in the mail!!! Awesome. I'm so pumped to watch it. Sooo many things to do this weekend. Such as read my books, watch my movie, and go to Okotoks and have the Rider day this Saturday.

Anyways. There really is lots of TV to watch. I already watched New Adventures of Old Christine, Gary Unmarried, SYTYCD Canada, Modern Family, Cougar Town, and I still have SYTYCD US. :D Then it's to bed for me, no more staying up late tonight. I need some sleep!!

I got the best news ever from the radio station today! :D:D:D

MATT GOOD IS COMING TO CALGARY!!!! :D

Well first he's going to Edmonton and then to Calgary.. which makes me want to get tickets to both of the shows! :D OMG! I'm so excited for his new album which he is streaming on his website till October 6th, when Vancouver actually comes out on CD.

November 14th in Edmonton (which is a Saturday) and then November 15th! :D Ahh! I'm so excited! The presale starts tomorrow!!! Tickets go on sale to the public on Friday though. I have to get tickets! I'll be pissed at myself if I don't. Like super pissed. Haha.

November is where it's at this year! Whooohooo!!! :D Matt Good :D New Moon :D What else does November have in store for me? Hopefully other good things as well.

Also, I'll miss you Sticks. The neighbour lady had to sell him because her boyfriend was allergic. But he went to a good home so that's good. I'm sure Abby will be upset too. Poor Kitty, just made friends and are seperated now.

Whata weekend! What's to come of this week?

Ahh.. Monday. Why you gotta be so tiring?
I think it's because of my super duper relaxing weekend. Blake and I left the house a total of 3 times. 3 times more than I wanted to but whatevs. ;)

Since the last time I updated... it was all great TV and lots of work! So, there was no time for blogging. :D/:(

Wednesday. Was SYTYCD America. I love it. Love the hosts. Good times for sure! I can't wait to see what happens on this season! Blake likes watching it too. Strange.. but true!

Thursday. Was the premiere of Vampire Diaries. So good. I wasn't too sure about it but now I am. I like it! :D

Friday. It was a pretty good day at work. Lotsa chilling. I don't remember doing too much work. So that's good. Ha ha. Then Friday after work I went to Blockbuster and rented State of Play and Sunshine Cleaning. The State of Play movie was meh and predictable. The commercials really did give too much away. And Sunshine Cleaning was hilarious. I'd call it a dramedy. It was like... Little Miss Sunshine.. and it was a little like that because Alan Arkin was in it. I loved Amy Adams and Emily Blunt in it though. I always thought they looked kinda similar.. like they could be sisters, and then they go and play sisters. It wasn't just me obviously. :D I made lasagna that night too. So yummy. :D

Saturday. Blake and I wanted to go and get Beatles Rockband and so we were looking up where to get it. We ended up just getting it at Walmart anyways though. Ha ha. It was like .50 cents cheaper than everywhere else. Not really much of a savings but whatevs.

Then we headed to Ikea. We got .50 cent hot dogs. :D and we bought a rug for Abby's chair. She loves it BTW. And we got another lamp for the living room. It's so much better with that much light. I don't know how we did without now. And we got a knife sharpener. I'm pretty sure that's all we bought but who knows.

After Ikea we headed to M&M Meats. Our favourite menu item we found out is being discontinued... *cries* Mushroom Brie. So good. Yum yum! But we got some more French Onion Soups! :D It's cheaper than making your own. But I still prefer the taste of homemade(My Papa's) then store bought... obviously! :P And... we got ginger beef.. I wonder how that's going to taste... and we got boneless pork dry ribs. :D Blake's already gotten into that one. :P

Then we came home. We set up our new lamp and the rockband.. played it for awhile. Then I really wanted to get bulbs for our new lamp so that was the second time we went out. :D Ha ha we also had to get a few other things like... delicious clamato so we made a trip to Co-Op.

Then we came home and played rockband for the whole night till we finished the game. We still have to collect a few more pictures but other than that.. the game was pretty easy. I was a little disappointed in some of the selections of songs. I though for sure that HELP was going to be on there but nope and a few other good ones. I guess Live and Let Die is not a Beatles song like I always thought it was. It's actually a Wings song... which is Paul's other band. I say it should have still been on there. It would have made me happy. :D

Sunday. Blake was sad that we already finished the game so he went out and bought Guitar Hero 5 for PS3. You can play it like a rockband game because it uses all the same instruments and is totally compatible with them as well. Also, it looks waaay cooler than Guitar Hero 3 that we have for Wii. It's got pretty awesome songs that we had to play right away. So we played that till we were tired. Ha ha. We haven't finished that game. It's a little more difficult then the Beatles game. I made Blake watch Scent of a Woman with me. I love it but Blake was indifferent. Maybe if he watched it all instead of taking a nap half way through. But it's Blake's style to sleep through half of a movie. I on the other hand cannot sleep if a movie is on usually.

Then Blake craved ribs and I wasn't about to make any, so we called Tony Romas for takeout. Ha ha. So lazy! That was the only other time that I left the house. Ha ha.

When we got back home we ended up watching the MTV VMA's!

What an awesome show. OMG. I couldn't breathe the whole time the Extended New Moon Trailer was on. I didn't think they would show that much but they did. And that was awesome! Is it November yet!? Ha ha. I can't wait for this movie to come out.

Lady Gaga's performance was different... good but different. Poor Taylor Swift. Kanye is a dick. Screw him and his shitty life and music. I gotta stop buying his albums. Ha ha.

The other notable thing that happened last night on the VMA's was the Beyonce dance. Loved it. I wanted to get up and dance but Blake would've called me a loser ha ha. Like I called Katie lame for putting her hand in front of Tobin's face and flicking it back and forth like Beyonce said. Ha ha.

Entourage was awesome. I wonder if Zac Efron is going to make any other appearances and I hope that Lloyd comes back to Ari. :(

Monday. So today at work. I came in and they were taking the stone from the walls down. So loud. I barely could think today. I had to answer the phones anyways regardless of the pounding of the hammers. And it was sooo dusty. I had to open the doors to get air circulating. Ugh. At least I didn't have anything else pressing to do today. :D But, they haven't finished putting stone back up so another day with guys that don't speak English. I wish I spoke Spanish or Mexican or whatever it is so I know they aren't making fun of me. :P Ha ha

Tonight, new TV!!! One Tree Hill! and Gossip Girl. Chase Crawford was on Regis and Kelly this morning looking super fine so I'm pumped about this coming season. I wonder if Blair and Chuck are still together. I wonder a lot about One Tree Hill. I hope it's actually going to be good. I'm excited that Rachel is going to be back!! :D Oh yeah.

This makes me even more pumped for the soundtrack. There is no doubt in my mind that I'm purchasing the soundtrack album for New Moon. I might as well. I have the Twlight one already.... :D Huzzah!

My Weekend Extravaganza!!

What a busy ass weekend!

I guess I'll start off with Friday.

I worked till 2 then took off to Edmonton :D It was a fast drive up to Edmonton although it sucked driving away from nice weather. We get into Edmonton and it's raining. :P but at least it only lasted like a few minutes then it was gone. Haha.

Then we get to Blake's parentals and we had Chinese food. It was nice because instead of doing things that night we just chilled around the house. We hardly ever get to do that. It seems like it's always go go go. So we sat around and watched some tv there and went to bed fairly early because we knew it was going to be a busy day on Saturday.

Saturday morning... I didn't get to sleep in. :( Boo urns. I hate that Blake has to wake @ 630 but I wish that we had actually got to sleep with no interruptions until then. Blake's mom is exactly like Blake where as if he's up, you are too. Haha. She acted like no one was in the house at 530 and is talking to my cat loudly, because well.. my cat has an early wake up schedule too. :P

But at least I blocked it out and grabbed an hour after waking up and I was up up at 630. So I ended up finishing the book I borrowed from my sister. Shoe Addicts Anonymous. :D It was a pretty good book. Makes me want to go and get the next book by Beth Harbison.. now if only I could remember the name of it.

So after Blake's meeting we got ready to head to SONIC BOOM. :D
So much fun. I got to meet Alexisonfire and I have their autographs and pictures with them and I took a picture of Jason Mews ( Jay from Jay and Silent Bob). It's of him running away but you can clearly tell it's him. :P I also got a picture with Lochlyn Munro. He played Craig on Night at the Roxbury. So funny. While I was there I had no idea who he was but I went home and IMDB his butt and found out who he was. Haha.

I have three favorite bands that I saw. They were The Wet Secrets/ Metric and Franz Ferdinand. I'm sure Taking Back Sunday would have been one but they missed there plane. Sucks. :P and Alexisonfire would have been too but I didn't stay for them or for Billy Talent. It's not that I didn't want to.

But because we already had to go out and see Blake's friend Dre because that was originally the plan. We were going for his 27th birthday. We got Dre a Crystal Skull vodka bottle. So cool. It'll be even cooler when he finishes it and can use it as decoration. So Saturday we were out and about, but managed to get home for midnight. Then we passed out because .. we were dummies and didn't bring sunscreen and we ended up burning our faces and I'm pretty sure we got heat stroke too.

Apparently, that night my poor little brother was bike riding around with his friends and ate the pavement. He got scratched up pretty bad and ended breaking his wrist. My parents went to the hospital at 430 in the morning because he couldn't sleep because he was in too much pain. Poor kid. He needs to drink more milk and stop biking like a crazy person. Haha.

Sunday was pretty much busy again... I wanted to go to Walmart and get new pillows and it was a perfect time to go because Blake's mom always loves a good Walmart trip. I ended up spending money there on 2 awesome/comfy pillows/a new kettle because my other one crapped out Thursday and I got Adventureland. Love that movie. It's set at a pretty slow pace but it's perfect for a lazy feeling day like Sunday was. We ended up watching it over at Blake's friend Kevin's house in the afternoon because Kevin has a crush on Kristen Stewart (barf!) before we jetted off to my parents for supper. We were planning on spending the evening there and not just supper and watching Big Brother but Graham told Kimi & Brett were were in town and so we ended up going over there to see adorable little Caylin. She's getting so big and it soo smart and here I am in Calgary missing it. :( After Caylin went to bed, we ended up playing Bochie(sp?) ball for an hour. By the time we were going to head back to my parents, they were already heading to bed. So we ended up going to my sisters place and checking out their new digs. It's a pretty nice little set up she's got going on. I thought for sure that there was going to be more purple/girlie in the room though. Haha. We left there and went home to Blake's parents and we stayed up for a half hour before crashing for the night. It turned out to be an early one because I was so dead tired from the night before.

Monday I got woken up early again 730 to go for a McDonald's breakfast run. Everyone else had been up since 630.. if not earlier. So Paul and I made the drive to McD's and then we get back and eat. Blake's mom was the only one not happy with her breakfast. It turns out her hash browns weren't cooked and they gave us the wrong meal for her. I think everyone elses was okay though. Mine was delicious. :D

Abby gets to play outside a lot while we are in Edmonton so of course she got to again this weekend. She even played with Sticks nicely this time. Well... nicely for her. Haha. Because he was on the other side of the fence. I took pictures of them playing plus pictures of Sticks feets. So cute. They seriously look like hands. Haha.

Blake checked out his favorite store in WEM but came back disappointed because it's getting too 80's for him in there. But they were playing the new Datarock album so he ended up getting that. It wasn't a fun trip for him. He felt like he came back empty handed. :P

Then we took off home for Calgary. Yay!

We get home and I tried calling my mom because it is her birthday but she was out at a movie with my sister (Time Travellers Wife) bet it was awesome. Anyways HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!!! I love you!

So we drop off our stuff and we went grocery shopping. We got steak and corn (yes, Blake is clearly obsessed with it.) and potato salad. I wish we had a BBQ though. I love the BBQ taste with steak. Oh well. Then I cleaned up the house and did some laundry because after the weekend it needed a good cleaning. I haven't gotten around to actually cleaning the place, so it finally got a good one last night. Then we watched tv and Blake cleaned up our computers... I guess we are suppose to do regular scans.. haha. I hadn't since ... well we got my laptop back from Best Buy months ago. Then we called it a night around 930.

Tuesday. It was a normal day at work. Tomorrow will be better because I'll have all my sales guys in. It's hard when there is only 1. :P The phone just rings all the time! Haha

Now I'm at home and I've got some excellent tv to watch tonight such as... Big Brother (eviction tonight!!!), SYTYCD Canada, 90210 and Melrose Place. I'm just checking out the pilot and then I'll make my decision as to whether or not I end up watching the season. I do already have a lot to watch as you can clearly see! Haha

I have to add my pictures to this post and then you are all up to date! Whoa long update! :P

Huzzah weekend.. here I come!

This week has been so long already. I've been soo super duper busy at work. I don't even have time to reply to emails or anything fun. I've only read a couple chapters of my book and that's only because I read them at home. I've come home and been too tired to update, even though I haven't really had much to update either. Haha.
Tuesday night Blake wanted to go to the mall to get his glasses fixed. So we went. But I had just gotten my first paycheck at Diamond so.... I bought two pairs of jeans and a cute green (of course) shirt!! :D I got them from Aero Postale. Everything I got was on sale and when I got to the till they gave me $10 off my purchase so I ended up only spending $58! :D Gotta love that!
Last night though I actually did something when I came home.. I made cupcakes! Yummers. They are awesome too. I just have to put icing on them still.

So this weekend is going to be busy!
It kicks off with getting to leave work early on Friday so that we can be in Edmonton for supper with Blake's parents... and I just took a break to call them and let them know that too. Haha.

So, Blake bought tickets to Sonic Boom festival.. and not just any tickets. He got the VIP tickets. He got them because they were only $40 more and you get all this other cool stuff... plus! Meet and Greet with Franz Ferdinand/Taking Back Sunday/Ill Scarlett/ and Alexisonfire!! :D I doubt I'll talk to them because I always stay dumb stuff and get too star struck but at least Blake has the balls that I don't. :P So that's just a part of our Saturday.
Then after the festival... we have our friend Dre's birthday party to go to. So that'll be a busy night.

Sunday, I still plan on visiting my family for dinner. Hopefully they are still down for that. I don't know because my mom still never got back to me about it. Although I did only ask her in my blog and not actually on the phone. :P

Monday, we head back to Calgary. Grocery shopping and relaxing. That's basically all we have planned for that day and I mostly plan on sticking to it. :P

tired today...

This past weekend was eventful! My oh my.

Friday. Worked... easy enough. Then it was off to Edmonton. We didn't get there till 845 or something like that... we dropped off the cat at Blake's parents and then took off to Whyte Ave to hang out with Erin.
We get to the bar called Dirty Pretty (more like pretty dirty) @ 1015 or something like that... Erin is already drunk! Haha. Everyone kept feeding her shots so that was pretty hilarious, she got a little Britney Spears by the end of the night but that was to be expected since it was her first time at a bar. I got a really funny picture on my phone of Erin on the dance floor/stripper pole. I guess after we left at 1230, Angelina showed up (I saw the pictures posted on Facebook by Katie) ... I'm sad I missed her. She's always hilarious and good times. I didn't realise that the girls nowadays dress/act super duper slutty. I guess when it's hot weather though that they do anyways.. I wonder if it's the same in the winter. I guess you can tell I don't go to the bar... like at all. Haha. My mom said that she thought Erin had her dress on backwards... she might be right about that one too...

So after the bar on Whyte we were just going to head home and sleep, but Blake was text messaging his friends and we ended up going to Original Joe's in the Hampton's .... in Edmonton. We closed the bar down there. I drove, so Blake had a chance to drink with his friends. He got pretty drunk.. but he wanted to come home and look at his graphs for work. Lame! But that's Blake for ya.

Saturday, I got up really early for going to bed around 230-3. I woke up first @6 because Blake alarm went off and I was kinda in and out of sleep for 15 minutes before I woke up and headed out to see my parents. I got Tim Horton's coffee and donuts for them and I chilled with them till around 9 - 930. We watched a repeat episode of Entourage. I miss being able to visit with my parents just on random. :( At least next weekend I should hopefully be able to come over for dinner Sunday night.. How about it Mom? Can I come over for supper?

After that I headed to my Grandma's house. She's been renovating her place so I wanted to come and take a look, plus I hadn't seen her for awhile. OMG! I love her new appliances in her house. Shiny and new! Plus I love her new couches. So nice. I'm glad she's finally doing this for herself. I wasn't happy with how her place looked before. Grandma also gave me my birthday present which was a really pretty ring that's pink! With a matching necklace. I'm wearing the necklace right now but I'm not wearing the ring. The only finger it fits on is my ring finger and I was wearing it around on my left hand ... which I know I shouldn't but it was fun to pretend. Haha. I'll take a picture when I get home tonight.

Updated:After my Grandma's place I headed over to my Nana & Papa's place. I checked out the garden and had a nice chat with Nana. She also made me a balaro? (sp?) It's like a half sweater/cardigan. Green! My favorite. The garden... very nice. Huge tomatoes! I got a whole baggie of peppers. I didn't know there was such thing as purple peppers. Found out my Nana and Papa are liars. They said the purple peppers weren't hot. Blake bit into one and he said his mouth was on fire. Then he tried to get me to eat one. Eff that Blake.. I'm not dumb. Haha.

Then I was off to get new tires! Okay... yeah I did just buy my car last year.. but I didn't know that you have to rotate your tires every 10,000 km, so I didn't end up doing that. Then on my last oil change I went to Ford and they had big red boxes checked off for my tires. Oops. I won't be making that mistake again. I'll be going to Ford to get oil changes from now on... that or Kal Tire. Either way, next time I'll be getting my tires rotated so that they last longer then a year. :D

Blake and I had made plans on Friday night to go and watch the UFC fight at a bar called Cognacs with Dre, Tyler, Pat, Jeff, Kevin and Kevin's 2 cousins Bryan and Kyle. Lots of people! I was only suppose to stay for dinner because I was going to hang out with Mel, but I didn't realise that I wouldn't actually mind watching the fights. The only thing I didn't like was the guy that I picked to win... didn't. :p Haha. After the fight, I dropped Blake and the boys off at Sherlock Holmes @ WEM and went home and to read/finish my book. Which I had just bought called... Hope In a Jar by Beth Harbison She also wrote Shoe Addicts Anonymous, which I am starting to read today. (because I stole it from my sister's room when I was in Edmonton. :P Good times.) Then I had to pick Blake and boys up when they closed the bar there. :P Again... Blake comes home and tries to look at his graphs but ends up falling asleep on the chair... I just left him there. I didn't want his smelly breath in my face for a second night. Haha.

Sunday was a pretty good day. Sleeping in... sorta till 9.. you know how Blake likes to wake people up early regardless what time they go to bed. Anyways. He woke up, did his meeting and then took a nap. I was outside playing with Sticks. The cutest cat ever! He's got 6 fingers. I feel dumb for not taking a picture of him but I'll try again this coming weekend. His paws look like he's got a catchers baseball mitt on. So adorable. Abby wasn't really pleased with Sticks. She hissed and wanted to kick the crap out of him.. but she never ended up doing any of that. She just went along her business. I also found out Abby hates little kids too. Haha. When she was a little kitten she didn't seem to mind them. Now.. well.. haha...

So we probably left Edmonton around 1 or something when Blake decided to get going and we got back into calgary around... 330 but we wanted to get a show to watch so it wasn't lame to just sit around the house. So we got Californication Season 2 on DVD. We have already watched most of the season anyways. I think it starts again at the end of September. I'm excited for that! :D

So we watched the episodes we missed.. then watched Big Brother... and Hung and Entourage. Good stuff! Now... I'm at work. I got paid today!! :D Woo!

After work, I have to head to a Kal Tire and get my tires something or other tightened. Woo. Haha.

I'm excited for this coming weekend, even though it's going to be super busy! Friday, I'm going to try and get out of work early so that we can head off to Edmonton and do the supper thing with Blake's parentals. Saturday, Blake wanted/wants to go to Sonic Boom, but we don't have tickets.. plus Dre's birthday is Saturday so yeah.... and then Sunday, I want to hang out with my parentals. :D Then Monday it'll be back to Calgary! Busy busy.

i'm to lazy to think of something clever here...

So... what's happened since Monday. Not really a whole lot of anything.
Blake and I have been working and then coming home and mostly chilling. Watching tv... the usual. I watched another one of my new movie purchase this week as well. Raise Your Voice. Blake wanted to see it. Haha... he also said that Hilary Duff was way hotter back then.... yeah... she was also underage Blake... perv.

Work has been good! Everyone is soo nice and helpful. It's not stressful to come in everyday which is a nice change.
I've been learning a lot from Vinnie. He's really nice and it's crazy. I have nothing to complain about anyone. That makes me pretty happy! :D

I'm excited for this weekend.. It's been awhile since I've been to Edmonton and even longer for Blake. Same with Abby. She loves it there because she gets to go out onto the patio. Or even out onto the grass. There is also another kitty that lives next door.. so maybe they might get an introduction... unless he's not fixed or anything.. and then I'll be all motherly and keep her away. Haha.
So celebrating Erin's birthday Friday and probably hanging out with Dre and Mel on Saturday and whoever else we get together. Yay!

First Day!

Yesterday, after I updated, I didn't end up taking that much deserved nap until after I went out and saw Inglorious Basterds. That was a pretty intense movie. I mean it was like any other Quentin Tarantino movie so I shouldn't be too surprised but it was very violent.
After that I had my nap :D Then watched Big Brother and So You Think You Can Dance. :D I'm happy the way everything turned out. With both shows.
And then after that, I watched one of my newest movie purchases: The Girl Next Door. Love that movie. SO AWESOME! :D
Then I watched Hung and Entourage because well.. duh.
Then had a hard time falling asleep because I had a nap so late in the day. :P

So... today was my first day of work at Diamond Fireplace. It's really nice and awesome here. I'm glad that I'll be here for awhile. I learned a lot of stuff already about fireplaces... and I knew nothing about them at all. Haha. I did a lot of answering phones and if anyone knows me... they know I hate the phones. But it's like people are waaaay nicer when they call in and want something from a construction place. I almost know everyone's name already and can recognize what they do too! So that's a bonus. Tomorrow is the big accounting day. I know nothing about this and it's definitely all going to be new stuff to me. So yeah. But I'm happy. So hopefully that lasts.
I have a picture of my desk! I'll upload it when I get home. I'm so lame. Haha.

P.S I'm so pumped to get my copy of Drive Me Crazy from Amanda because she is awesome and downloaded it and made me a copy! :D I'm still going to order it from Amazon because I want an actual copy. 2 - 1 for me 1 for her. But!! I should get Blake to go up and see her at work tomorrow so he can bring it home for me to watch now... while I wait! :D Huzzah!

Whoa whata weekend!

It's been crazy already. Sooo many things have happened. But I might as well catch you up from Wednesday..

So... Wednesday and Thursday were much the same. It consisted of me looking for jobs all over the city. :P The only difference being was that I went for an interview on Wednesday to Diamond Fireplace and Thursday was at a temp agency called Robert Half. I thought for sure that I was never going to hear from Diamond Fireplace again, but sure enough, Thursday he called. He wanted me to come in for a 2nd interview. I was pretty much confused at this point because he said that he was interviewing 3 other people, so I wasn't sure what else he could possible have more to ask of me. I told him I'll come in Friday morning at 930 to find out. Well! Friday I got the job! :D Yay! I start Monday. I have to thank Blake for making me apply to places that weren't exactly my qualifications and then actually beating out other people anyways! :D I am so pumped that I had quit my job Monday and by Friday I found a new one. I was sure it was going to take longer than that.

Thursday night was fun.... I'm not trying to delay my weekend talk I just wanted to talk about the AWESOME Big Brother show. OMG! It went fast and it was jam packed full of craziness. I love the people on there because they make for a pretty good show. Good job Big Brother... which we found out that it's really a big sister because the producer had to kick off one person and it wasn't a dudes voice. Haha.

Friday. After I got out of my interview I called Blake and let him know the good news but he told me that he was going to have to work later, so... since I was already in Amanda's area I went over to her place to pass the time till I had to pick him up. We went to Walmart! :D Gotta love that place. Then after spending a decent amount of time there I dropped her off and headed home. I picked up Blake from work and picked up my clothes... and headed back to Amanda's place.
Earlier in the week, she had invited me up to her lake house for Friday night to relax and hot tub. You just don't say no to an invite to a hot tub. Plus! I was pumped about seeing her place up close, since I had only seen the pictures on her Facebook. It was such a treat! So nice. I can't wait to go up for a weekend, with Blake and Sean this time because you could tell they were a little jealous that we were having such a great time. So, we got to her place, she showed me around, we watched movies -Twilight and Devil wears Prada, ate junk food (which I really shouldn't have because I'm already a fatty), watched a cruise dvd because Lori and Terry are going on a cruise with their friends, and ate delicious steak- because we found out that it was Amanda's parents anniversary! Then we headed out and sat around the fire pit in the backyard, we had a few shots of HotDamnnn, and watched a crazy lightening storm in the distance. Lori and Terry's friends had to go home(stupid curfew), so at that point we hopped into the hot tub and OMG! their hot tub is soo cool. I had never seen one that has a changing light at the bottom and a stereo connected to it, that was awesome! I know I obviously haven't lived, but that was pretty cool you must admit.

Saturday felt like a fake Sunday waking up. It was just so peaceful out there that it didn't feel like Saturday, that and I could sleep in. But, :P we kept getting woken up because Blake was up and wanted to know what my plans were. After a number of times, 3 or 4 or 5 times, of being interrupted in our sleep, we got up, without wanting to. Well we also didn't want to waste the whole day just laying in bed either. So we got up and had something to eat/drink and then we sat around and watched Clueless because it was on tv. Love me some Clueless. <3
Amanda took me on the golf cart around the lake and it's super cool out there. Since they have a boat it'll be a lot more fun the next time, not saying it wasn't this time either. Just hoping that the weather is as nice as it was this weekend.
We made the plan to purchase Drive Me Crazy when we got back to Calgary because we are lame and love that movie, and also because it's amazing! But for some lame ass reason, we didn't find it at HMV or Walmart or Zellers. So it's time to try the big boys today. Futureshop and Best Buy. Blake likes going to these places so I shouldn't have trouble getting him to go with me today.
Anyways, so, Saturday while Blake was bugging us all morning, he went out and got a roast beef, potatoes, carrots and beets. Yum. Since there was plenty of food, we invited Amanda and Sean over for dinner. We watched I Love You Man and played Wii Sports Resort because they had not watched the movie or tried this wicked awesome game. Sean and Blake ended up playing most of the night, with Amanda and me just watching. But we had a great time and can't wait to do it again. PICTURE!:
But this time I have to be nicer to Blake because, I was kinda being a bitch. I can't help myself. I don't even realize when I'm doing it either. But I apologize because I'm not that much of a jerk to him on most days.

Well today is Sunday! I can't believe I'm awake right now. But Blake woke up and left for work an hour ago and I wanted up update my iPhone.. new download today :D and to put new music on. :D MMM... new Mute Math and Manchester Orchestra. I also wanted to be able to update my blog since it's been awhile and tons has happened, as you can clearly see. I wish I had more pictures but I don't, because I forget that I always have a camera with me(my phone). :P
Amanda has to send me the link to the video of the boys playing Wii last night still and I'll update that in here as well. :p Sooo Funny!

Blake wants to see Inglorious Basterds today in the theatre and there has already been getting very good reviews, but since it's the only new awesome movie in theatres this weekend it's probably going to be super busy, so we will have to go early.

My sister's birthday is today. The big 1.8! We are going up to Edmonton to celebrate so it'll be a lot of fun! Woo. I wished her last night at midnight via text message and Facebook. To which both she replied pretty fast. Haha.

Anyways.. updated here and the phone so now I'm going to catch a half hour nap because I'm pooped!

Tuesday.. looking for work.

So update from Sunday.
We ended up winning the football game! Woo. That rarely ever happens but it happened. Good times! But I went out and rented a movie. 17 Again. Katie/Amanda you were right. It was hilarious! I considered buying it.. but now that I'm out of work (that's coming up).... I can't really afford it. And then the rest of the night was spent playing Wii Sports Resort, watching True Blood, Hung, and Entourage. :D It was nice and relaxing.

Monday. I went into work. :P The first thing that happens when Rachael walks in to the office, is her getting upset at me for not making coffee, but I did. I just didn't press the button till she was in because I didn't want it to be sitting around and getting burnt tasting since she's the only one who drinks it. Also, the fact that there were things sitting on my desk since Friday that I didn't do (but I'm pretty sure she was the one who told me to go home because there was nothing for me to do). Then after that happens I go up to the 17th floor (I worked a floor below my temp agency) and I talk to my recruiter. I almost wasn't going to bother but the first thing she does is come in and complain. Pfft! What's the point on making me go crazy longer? So my recruiter told me to finish out the day and I wouldn't have to go in for the rest of the week. :D YAY!
After the day I came home and Blake looked up jobs on the Internet for me to apply too and I chilled out because I was just exhausted from a very emotional day.

So my recruiter called me today and she told me that Rachael was surprised that I didn't want to work there because I was really good at my job. Well Rachael. You know what I have to say to that! Treat people like they are doing a good job and don't make them feel like shit on a daily basis! Grr.. BIIIIITCH PLLLLEASE!

Alright. So today was job hunting day. :D :P I hate that in the last months that I have to look for jobs... feels like all the time. Grrr.... But there is hope for me yet. Today I applied online to a few jobs and I got a few responses. One that wants to me to come in for an interview tomorrow @ 930. Little early much? But I'm down for it. I'm kinda nervous though. I hope that I get it but I'm not going to put all my hopes on it. I don't have all of the experience that they want.. such as the accounting but I'm willing to learn. Besides, I sent him my resume and he must have seen something that made him think that it was worth it having me come in for a interview. So cross your fingers!

I was watching BIG BROTHER tonight. It was awesome. So many explosions and whatnot. Man. People are going crazy in the house right now. It's really good tv. :D Good times.
I love that SYTYCD is in Edmonton tonight. So weird but I love this show. I can't believe how addicting it can be to watch it. :D
Haha this entry took forever to write, I started at 8:14 and finally finish at 9:42! because I kept getting interruptions such as phone calls and Blake wanting me to play Wii Sports with him. He's obsessed with Frisbee Golf... and I suck at it which makes me a poor sport when it comes to playing it but I'm pretty good with other things. :D

Alright. So since Wednesday I've been having like the worst time at work. Thursday I went home a half hour earlier because I just was going to freak out on my boss. Friday I almost did too. I seriously almost cried around 10 am. That's when she started in again. Here's the story...
I was filing and I couldn't find a place for document to go, so I asked for Rachael's help. She came over and started riping things out of their place and then telling me that I was doing everything wrong and that if I didn't want to file that she could get someone else in that could do it. At that point, I wanted to yell at her and tell her to find someone else because I was out of there but instead I put up with some more of her bullshit and then left the room. After that I didn't talk to her for the rest of the day and went home at 2 instead. Not because I wanted to though, but because she said she didn't have any more work for me to do and to go home. Whatever fine by me. But I really need to talk to my temp agency. I tried a few times on Friday but every time I went up there. My recruiter wasn't there. But I'll be sure to talk to her next week. I think that Rachael might be crazy and talk to her first if I don't saying I'm not working out or something. I don't want to get fired from this job or anything but ugh. It's frustrating.
Anyways.

So after that lovely day at work Friday. Blake took me to go and see the movie "The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard". It was really really funny. But at some parts it just seemed to go on for too long: the Will Ferrell falling from the sky part and the angel part, and of course Will had to be in the movie. The other movies that the director did were Step Brothers and Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, plus he was the producer. But other than that... it was pretty hilarious. I really enjoyed Jeremy Piven in it.
Then after the movie Blake and I went and had dinner at Mr. Mike's like we were suppose to last weekend and we had a really tasty meal. I really like that place because it's not overly busy and it's fairly good service. I'd go there again for another tasty burger. Then we headed to Walmart and bought " I Love You Man" :D Loved this movie. Love the fact that I own it now. :D So we went home and watched it, and that was our night.

Saturday I was wanting to go and see Little Ashes at The Uptown theatre downtown but by the time we got home from grocery shopping we just wanted to stay home and relax. Blake ended up cooking us bbq ribs/baby potatoes/ and asparagus. So yummy! And we chilled out and watched movies on Movie Central and Blake worked on something for work, when he should have been resting because he's super sick, but ohh well. So that was Saturday.

Well.. today Sunday I tried again to make plans for us to go and see Little Ashes, and I'm starting to think I will never see this movie, because after I had my shower and was ready to go, Blake decides that watching the Sask Riders game would be better. But he's having a nap now and I'm back in my pj's hehe. Anyways.

I have to say. I'm super pumped for September 14!!!!
I was perusing Facebook when I saw my friends page and it had the Gossip Girl Season 3 preview.

and Katie my sister told me about this one. One Tree Hill Preview! OMG!!


Hehe ... so awesome! Back to being glued to the tv. Hehe. Anyways.
I'm going to go an wake Blake up because game time is in 8 minutes and I don't want to be watching it by myself. So that's all.
