guess what?!? i'm actually finally not sick!! success!!!

Yay! Today is the first real day that I'm not sick. Like no coughing or anything. I'm pretty pumped about that.
It was a half day at work today and instead of getting anything really done, I came home and had a nap instead. Sorry Amanda. Haha
But I did get things done. I went out and dropped off some resumes because I don't know how long this job is going to last and when I'll get another chance to actually find a job until, well, I'm unemployed again. :P

But anyways... So lots has happened in the week that I've missed writing about. Yes. It's been a week, and tomorrow is Canada Day! Huzzah! But it's mostly rage induced gossip and since I don't want this to become an anger blog I'll keep it to myself. I just can't wait for this job to be over already though. I don't know how much more I can take of this one girl and my supervisors that refuse to help. Grr...

Wednesday-Thursday:
These were pretty uneventful. Days at work usually are. Specially since I was just going up and taking cold medicine and passing out. :D
Friday:
Went to work. Had Blake doing errands around the house, such as cleaning and whatnot.
Got his pants back from the tailors. Yay! More clothes to wash. :P Hehe.
Met up with Blake's parents at their hotel, then went to the Cactus Club Cafe for dinner. Had a super tasty burger. Came home and watched everyone drink our booze. (Wasn't in the mood to drink, also thought I was going to have to drive) But at least they got rid of 1 of the 5 vodka bottles we had, and whatever was left of our spiced rum. Hehe
Saturday:
Watched Confessions of a Shopaholic/Definitely, Maybe/America's Sweethearts/ and Don't Mess with the Zohan. (the first 3 were my choice, the last one was all blake) and ate take out from Earls. Yum!
Sunday:
Went grocery shopping and came home and made curry. It was quite the process. Then we watched more movies. We were definitely feeling the movies this weekend. :D

So that was my catchup. So...
I'm getting really frustrated with what has been happening with my scheduling lately. I told like my whole family and friends that I was planning on coming up to visit them this coming weekend, but now I have to call them and tell them that I won't be making it up this weekend and hopefully I'll be coming down the following weekend. It's been a long time since I've seen them and I don't really like it. I wish I could see them a lot more but thems the breaks of living so far away from them. It just make me sad. BUT! At least Katie and Erin and maybe Graham will be coming up to Calgary the 2nd week of July. So I'll be able to see a few of them, then maybe I'll following them back to Edmonton.

So this weekend coming up is busy. Blake has plans to go to this thing on Friday night with work buddies and I'm not even invited so that ticks me off. Then Saturday is Karen's birthday and since I already told Amanda that I wouldn't be able to make it but Blake told me we weren't going up to Edmonton I'm wondering if I'm still invited. Hmm...

I bought tickets for Transformers tonight! I'm really excited about that. There is a ton of movies at the theatre that I want to go and see but this one easily takes it, I saw the first one in theatres, I might as well see the 2nd one too in theatres.
So there it is. I don't really have anything planned for Canada Day. I don't know what people do here in Calgary. Maybe Blake will want to go and see another movie. :D *my sisters keeper**my sisters keeper**my sisters keeper* hehee.

weekend would have been better if i wasn't sick.

So.. It's Tuesday and I'm going to let you know what things happened this weekend, because as you know I said I was going to go up to Edmonton. But! Since I was sick that didn't end up happening. Mostly I just stayed home. So here goes starting Friday.

Friday~

Friday was kind've a energetic day for me even though I was really sick that day, that I didn't even really need to go into work because I had a doctors note, but I don't get paid if I don't go in, so I basically had no choice. So I'm working and it's a big day for the company because it was Ina Sample Sale day. It's where all the soft good/hard goods/ and footwear that they used for samples for the season are on sale for super cheap. Like I'm talking a winter coat for $300 is now $30. So I took part in purchasing some things. I bought 8 t-shirts for $20! And I got 3 hoodies for $45! Yeah it was pretty awesome. I wanted to get a golf bag but I didn't grab it in time and the sleeping bags and tents were gone before I even got to them. Oh well... The place was basically empty by the first half hour. It was chaotic! People pushing and shoving. It was hot and sweaty. Anyways I'm glad it only happens twice a year and while I was temping there so that's
awesome.

Other than that, the girl that annoys me was been her regular annoying self and I just can't stand her. It sucks because I can't even block her out! She sits right beside me so it's pretty hard. I'm going to try my best and just get through it, but I might have to write more rant entries. Haha

Anyways, so end of day comes and I go home and wait for Blake to call me so I can pick him up. We were going to our friends going away party at Robbie Stewarts Sports Pub, which was having their grand opening, it was a really nice place. But I was feeling pretty bad that day so we didn't stay long but we went and had some food there and Blake had some drinks and then we left around 930. I passed out as soon as I got home!

Saturday~

We did a ton of stuff. If I write it out in paragraph form I'll go on forever. So bullpoints it is! :D
-Woke up. Watched Blake beat Ghostbuster the game (he bought it on Tuesday nite). Then got ready to go out.
- Dropped 7 pairs of new pants off at the tailors that Blake has had sitting in the closet since December. $9 a pair for the hemming! Steal of a deal!
- Went to Olive Garden because Kings was closed. I missed out again on Wor Wonton Soup. But I got delicious Raspberry Ice Tea and yummy salad. (T'was delicious! :D)
- Went to Calgary Farmer's Market and realized that it would be cheaper just to go to a Co-Op or Safeway. :P Who knew?
-Watched Rachel Getting Married(terrible movie, don't know how Anne Hathaway got nominated in it) and watched The International (surprisingly good, helps that Clive Owen was in it :D)
- Went to bed. That was a long ass day!

Sunday~

We went for brunch with Rachel and Dan. I'm really starting to like these brunch things... breakfast food is awesome. Then we came home and cleaned the whole house from top to bottom. Blake went to Staples to pick up more ink for the printer and came home with a new wireless printer. We found out that I can download an app for my phone and send the pictures that I take right to the printer, so that was pretty cool. We ended up printing a few pictures. Now we have to get more paper. Hopefully he doesn't find anything else at Staples when I send him to get paper. Hehe. Then we chillaxed for the rest of the evening. Since I was still sick. At this point, I didn't think my cold would ever go away.

Monday & Tuesday~

Blah. Work. I was super busy at work both days. I didn't even get a chance to go on the internet.
I'm not happy about that. But other than that I'm just chilling at home trying to get better.
So hopefully I'll get over this cold one day, and then I'll have more to say but until then my entries are going to be pretty boring since I'm avoiding all contact with the outside world (or at least trying too) Well... Supper is ready. Later days!

K. I'm not usually this mad but I have to get it out somewhere.

Ugh! I hate all of them. They think I know what I'm talking about but I don't because I've been here even less then they have. Hmm... maybe I do get it faster than the rest of them. Don't come and bug me. I've got tons of my own work to do! But other than that the other two aren't my problem.

But I can't believe they are soo rude! They saw this woman who was fat on their first week and now they have to try and spot her everyday and make fun of her. The worst part is.. the one girl who is making fun of her the most, is fat too! So retarded!

The fat girl the one who makes fun of other people when she shouldn't because she's got horrible personality herself... is seriously getting on my nerves.
First, she asks me for a ride home the other day, so I was like sure! Then I headed to my car and then waited and waited. Then I came back and she was like "I thought you ditched me." Which I hadn't but now I wish I had. But she was saying stuff to the other girl about how that was a shitty thing to do, and how "I should have waited". Bitch! Ugh!
Then today she accuses me of changing her shit on this one excel spreadsheet. Which I didn't. She just typed her own shit wrong. So I told her a different way of finding it. Then when I'm explaining to another person why she couldn't find it, she said I was saying it wrong. Eff her!

I can't wait for this job to be completed now because I'm tired of her.

Anyways... back to work.
I'm probably just mad because I'm sick. But they know that, so they shouldn't get on my nerves right now.

Okay.. I'm sorry. I haven't written anything in the past couple days. Mostly because I'm actually super busy at work and there really isn't that much going on besides that and when I get home I pass out like hardcore.

Why? Because I'm sick. :(

I didn't realize it until last night when I went to bed super early again and woke up around 11 because my throat was so sore and I couldn't breath. Sucky!

But at least nothing new has really been going on.

I'm excited for the weekend though it's going to be busy and go by fast. Just hope that I can get over my sickness tonight. So there is a party tomorrow(Friday) with Dan and Rachel at their going away party at Robbie Stewarts Sport Pub, so that'll be fun. Then Saturday we are driving to Edmonton to see some family (it's Father's Day after all on Sunday) and Blake is going to be golfing with Paul on Sunday so that'll be good stuff, then back to Calgary after golf.

Jeez... I have nothing else to write. Sorry for the short note. But I'm at work right now and lots to do! So later days!

Ugh. What a freaking long ass day! I had a pretty awesome weekend though! It felt like it went by super fast. I guess it kinda did too though. I'm at home now. I was writing this sentence... seems like... the whole day now. Haha. I'm sorry guys. I just got really busy and didn't really even check my email in the afternoon, at least I don't think I did. So I guess I'll tell you how my weekend went starting Friday (even though Amanda knows most of it because I had brunch with her, but now I'm getting ahead of myself) and then I can end off, well, up to now. :D

Friday~

I had gotten a call from my friends Dan and Rachel on Thursday, and they were looking to give away some of their kitchen items because they are moving to Victoria, BC before the end of this month. The items include a rice cooker(best thing ever), a slow cooker, a deep fryer, and an electric wok. So I had invited them to come over on Friday to watch movies, we rented ~

Fanboys- so funny! i was surprised at how many people were in it because i thought it was with a bunch of no name actors but like "the seth rogan crew" as i like to call them were all in there.

Valkyrie- really good movie. it was awesome seeing tom cruise in a movie. he hasn't really had anything besides the fat man part in tropic thunder.

Layer Cake- i wanted to see it because daniel craig is in it and i just can't stop looking at his eyes. the piercing blue is to die for. it was blake's idea though because the guys at work said it was the best gangster movie. (i still don't think so, i still like rock 'n' rolla over layer cake) but it was a good movie. i just didn't like the end very much.

~because Blake and I were going to just take it easy anyways, so they came over. Brought over a crazy amount of their left over liquor cabinet (now ours is overflowing) and some food and the stuff. :D But!!!

We didn't end up watching any of these movies with them. Instead, we had some drinks, ate some food(thanks M&M Meats) and played Guitar Hero 3 all night. Haha. Rachel, never having played it before was awesome. Dan was moving on to medium after only playing it once before at our place but he did a great job. Then, by the time it was midnight it was time for them to go. Rach had to work the next day and they were leaving to Edmonton after she was done, to go and see a friend who is going away to Tokyo, or something like that. Anyways so we just went to bed after that.

Saturday~

Blake always feels like we aren't doing anything productive on the weekends unless we wake up super early and get out of the house to do stuff. So, we woke up early. Blake finally went and did his taxes. Yay! Lots of money. Haha.. that money is going to our damage deposit though for when we move to Bonnyville because Blake is convinced that it's going to be super expensive to live out there. But anyways, so I stayed home and cleaned the house, did some laundry and just waited till he got back. When he did we did some grocery shopping and Blake got his Dad's their Father's Day gift. So nice. Sucks though because Blake has to get 2 guys presents. Glad I only have the 1. Anyways.. I'm having a hard time staying on topic. Haha. So after that we came home and made some supper(with our awesome rice cooker and wok (yum homemade Edo) before heading out to Jeff-fa-fa Dun-ham. Jeff was hilarious. His opener was hilarious. Guitar Guy. His son is the lead singer of Avenge Sevenfold. Yeah... it was weird when he stepped out onto stage with a AS shirt, but then he explained himself. Haha. He was wicked awesome on the guitar as well. But Jeff. Wow. I have never gotten a second breath at a show. Jeff started out with Walter, then had Achmed the dead terrorist, and then had Peanut with Jose the Jalapeno on a stick. The only character that didn't make an appearance was Bobby and I'm glad because I don't really care for that character anyways. But he had an awesome merch booth and I ended up spending $120 on 2 puppets. I got Achmed and Peanut and when you press a button on their hand they say the puppets most known lines. That was wicked.

After the show Blake and I came home and watched Fanboys, and surprisingly enough Blake actually stayed up to watch it because he is known for falling asleep during movies. Especially when the lights are off.

Sunday~

I didn't get to sleep in either. Man would I have liked to. Stupid waking up at alarms (they should be banned). But I was also excited for brunch. MMM Food. (Too bad it wasn't that great... especially the service)

It was nice to see Amanda and get her reaction to Evil Dead. I was super excited to hear that she had a great time. Yay!! I'm glad that Sean liked it too. Blake was in the same shoes because he had never seen any of the movies either, but recommended it to everyone he saw and just like I had. I just wish that Amanda and them had gotten better seats like we did being practically in the splatter zone.

So, Blake had dropped me off and was at the mall checking stuff out so Amanda dropped me off and then Blake and I went shopping. He bought his "stampede gear" a red plaid shirt. All he need is a hat and some boots.

on a side note- Blake got invited to a gourmet breakfast and the email said that there would be stampede drinks ... what is a stampede drink? i really have no idea.

What I got was some undies from LaSenza because they had a 10 for $25 deal... I just couldn't pass up so I didn't and then I went to Garage. Usually I don't shop there but I really wanted another pair of shorts that were a bit longer then the only other pair that I own. Yes. I only had 1 pair of shorts. I'm a jeans girl. Sue me. Anyways, so I got one that was black and I also got a purple shirt. So sweet!!! :D That was my favorite part. The purple shirt.

Anyways. After all of that I came home and wanted/needed a nap so I napped while Blake cleaned out his closet, and got rid of a ton of clothes he will more than likely now give to my younger brother. Then after like a 30 minute nap that I got woken up from because Blake turned on the fan and I was getting frozen'd out, we decided to watch our final two movies and make dinner. Then we just chilled and watched the Fox Sunday line up... Family Guy/Simpson/King of the Hill/American Dad which were all repeats but whatevs. Then we heard a song on the beginning of some show that reminded me of Billy Madison so we ended up watching that but falling asleep too. Thank goodness for the sleep button. :D

Monday~

Like I said busy. I worked my butt off today. I didn't even realize when it was 4:30 but other people were getting up to leave when I checked the clock. So I took off too. When I just about home, Blake calls my cell and asks me to pick him up. When he is in the vehicle he decided to ambush me into a date night. Haha. I would have gone anyways... but he wanted to take me to dinner and we went to Tony Romas'. I don't know what it is about TR's but I love it. I just know what I'm always getting... (because I used to work there) and that's awesome. I had the Sirloin Steak Grilled Cheese Sandwich and Blake got the Ribblings (his fav). It was soo good. Then we came home. Thinking that I was going to be able to relax I came into the kitchen (the first room when you enter my apartment) and realized that wasn't the case. Because of me being negligent for 1 day things already piled up. Juice had to get made, garbage taken out, dishwasher unloaded and then reloaded, and kittie litter(the most dreaded part). I finally was able to relax. I talked to my sister on the phone for an hour, finding out that we won't be able to hang out with Devan on his birthday party. Devan is my sister's boyfriend and he just turned 18 on Sunday and he's had diploma exams all week so he wasn't able to party. Until Friday but we already have a party to go to here in Calgary and we won't be up to Edmonton until Saturday, so Devan will have to wait to party with us till next time. Maybe when my sister turns 18 which is in August, gross do I ever feel OLD!!

Anyways... so that basically leads me up till now.. .and it's 7 minutes till midnight. So I won't have anything particular to say tomorrow since I already told you my Monday. But I might have to vent. I can already feel one of the girls getting on my nerves. Stupid bitch grrr... well later days!!!

wow! really? it was only 3 days!

So I came into work today and found out that the other person that started working on the same day as me, is no longer working here.

I can't believe it! Thank god the girls here liked me enough to not tell the supervisors that I "wasn't getting it". I think that's really unfair that they obviously didn't like her that much to say anything nice about her. Whatever. I guess it's not my problem but she was here for 3 days!?

So.. yesterday was really super unproductive. I probably did about 1 hour worth of work because there were problems after more problems. And my supervisor wasn't around helping. They are always in meetings. It's not like I don't get what I'm doing but neither do the other girls really.

Went home yesterday after work and made some spaghetti. It was all good until I added cumin spice to the sauce and then it tasted like taco meat, with spaghetti spices. I also added way to much garlic. But Blake gets complain-ie when I don't add enough. Other than those two things the supper was awesome. I just don't know what I'm going to have for supper tonight, and more than likely I'm going to have to make it because Blake is golfing tonight.

Maybe just chicken fingers/nuggets and fries. Yummers.

Anyways. I don't know what else to talk about and I should get back to work, since I don't want to be next. :\

So like I said in my last post... nothing really happened yesterday.
Just worked and then went home. Well...
I had decided on Monday that I was going to be working from 8:30 -4:30 so that I can pick up Blake from work and then we pick up something for supper and then go home. But I went to work at 8:30 and then left at 4:30 and headed to pick Blake up when he calls me and tells me that he's going to work late. Whatevs right. But then I had to make supper, ugh, and I honestly hate making supper. It's not that I can't do it, but I don't like being judged on the food, because I try to make it good but I always pay attention to 1 thing more than the other. So something doesn't quite work out. Blake always has something to say. But he's just like me too. But I can't tell because I think it's good.

Anyways...
the pictures are uploaded. I did them last night! I don't know what it is about the internet but it's soo slow at our place or maybe it's just the computer but I don't know.

I'm so excited for Saturday. Jeff Dunham. Woo. And the best part is... it's close to my house. So I don't have to drive to another city!! YEAHYAHYAY!!
Then Sunday is brunch. I like hanging out with the girls. It makes me feel normal and like I have friends. :D Yay for Amanda for taking me under her wing. LOL.

new stuff?

Another day.. and I'm just sitting at my cubicle and waiting for the kinks to be worked out.

I'm still tired. I went home last night and had some supper but I had laundry to do and they the dishes so I didn't really get to rest all that much. Hopefully tonight I can get more sleep. After I upload those stupid photos for my last post. I looked at the laptop and the camera yesterday and still felt completely lazy and didn't want to go on the computer anyways. My legs are still killing me from dancing on Saturday and running to the car on Sunday. I guess the one thing that I thought I was physically fit with were my legs decided that they weren't. What can ya do?



I miss my kitty. It was so wicked the past month staying at home with her. I had to play with her last night too when I got home because well we weren't home all day and I didn't want her to be restless. I don't know why I feel bad because she is after all a cat and that's what they do. But I didn't want to get a cat so that it can just sleep all day, and I don't want her to get fat so I'm trying to take care of her as much as I can.



Well... I think I mentioned how lame yesterday was in the last post but! I didn't realize that I would have nothing, absolutely nothing to do. And I can't believe it's going the same way today.

But it could be worse. I might not have internet access. Then I would just die. Haha. At least the people are nice. The building is huge. I could get soo lost in here.

Friday June 19, they have a thing called a sample sale going on. It's where you can get like a bunch of clothes for really cheap. Like $200 winter coats for $20 so that'll rock. And I might be bringing some monies with me. That would be cool if I got some new stuff. Not that I can afford it right now. But that's neither here nor there.
Well.. I'm pooped! Time to get back to work. (Whatever that is)

Thursday ~ I'll start off by saying I went and got a book called "My Sister's Keeper"... SOOOO freaking good. I bawled by like... page 4 and it just got worse as the book went on. I was practically in hysterics by the time I finished the book. But I recommend it to everyone... just make sure you have a box of tissues beside you. But anyways... So Blake wanted a new suit to wear to the wedding so we went to Moore's and got them to tailor him one that was ready by the next day and then so he got a purple shirt so I wanted to match because at that point I was actually wearing a black/white and yellow dress and that would have never matched. So I got a pretty cute outfit... I will add pictures, I saw them and I look good.. if only I was smiling but what can ya do. I was very hungry in them too... that might be my excuse for my scowling faces in them/Blake has to take a million pictures I got bored of smiling.

Friday ~ We headed to Edmonton.. went and saw "The Hangover". Go see it. You won't regret it. Blake and I laughed our butts off. If only the theatre people weren't such uptight people. We went and saw it in Spruce Grove because it was sold out in Edmonton for the time that we wanted to watch it at so we drove there... it's like 20 minutes away so it wasn't so bad. But the theatre people kept coming in to check it people brought in outside food. Blake and I had and we didn't get to drink or eat our stuff. Super lame sauce. She even came and took people's bottles away when she caught them. Whatevs. So that was also the time I found out that I had forgotten our tickets to Dane Cook, and Blake had considered just forgetting about the show and not going until I was like.. I paid big monies for it. So we went to bed... well early.

Saturday ~ We woke up at 530am. Yeah.. and drove to Calgary. Just to get these tickets. I drove up and Blake drove back. We got back in Edmonton at noon and then we had to get ready for the wedding. Yay! I was the usher at the church and I could hear people talking about how we were doing a "horrible job ushering". Yah! Like I care. :P But it was a lot of fun. Shawn and Christie looked awesome. The food was awesome and the fact that it was open bar was super wicked, if the bartender would have been good enough to actually make a ceaser and there were enough beers that they didn't run out haha.. but what can you do. So we ended up leaving the reception at 1am. Needless to say.. very long day!!

Sunday ~ Dane Cook day. I went and saw my parents/my cousin and her baby/and my grandma. Everyone that I didn't really get to either visit with at the wedding or just people I hadn't seen that much so it was nice. My mom had ended up spraining her ankle while dancing with Blake at the wedding so I decided it would be nice to see her. Then I went back to Blake's parents thinking that I would actually get a nap but supper was ready so we ate and then basically had to leave for Dane. Holy Crap. I had never seen Rexall so busy. It was tarded!@ Seriously! But thankfully afterwards once we got out of the wicked awesome show Blake ran to the car and we got out of there before people became assholes. (Yes Amanda, I agree they are idiots in Edmonton but at least they don't change lanes in an intersection, then throw you the middle finger, after you were the one being cut off. haha) So we drove back to Calgary and made it home at 2am. I'm very very very tired.

Monday ~ Anyways... it's my first day of work and I have done nothing. But at least tomorrow I can wear jeans. Jeans everyday! Success! But I'm very tired, and I'm really just trying to look busy but I'm not going to complain because it could be worse. I could be doing some very brain active activity... Whoa!!! I'm soooo hungry too. UGH!! When will it end. Well... later days. I'll add pictures when I get home.

It has been awhile since I wrote in here. I guess I got all caught up with the New Moon trailer in the last little bit there. Hehe. SOOO good!!!

The weekend in Edmonton was good. Already getting ready to go there again. Then I won't have to go there again for a little bit. BUT!! I found out my friends had there 2nd baby. A boy. His name is Curtis something something.. Dudenhoeffer. Hehe.. He's healthy and she had another easy labour. *cough* bitch *cough* 2 in a row! That's just lucky! I also found out that my friends Dre and Mel are having a girl come September/October!!! Mel is looking round.. it's awesome. I believe they want to name it Mia something so that's cool. Oh!

Soo... my sisters grad went well. She looked really nice too. It was nice to meet Devan's family too. So that's cool. Here's a picture of her at her grad with Katie and me. I was DD so I didn't drink. But I still had a pretty good time. (The rest of the pictures are on facebook)

Sunday was the usual. We headed home and watched the MTV Movie Awards. They were awesome and I was right. Twilight did win for best movie. Obviously! Psycho fans out there probably voted more than once. I would have but I knew they would for me. Haha.. UHM...

Monday through to today was pretty uneventful. I've been at home. Watching some movies (He's Just Not That Into You (So funny that I had to watch it again/Should have just bought it) & Seven Pounds (I cried like a baby at this movie)), playing some Wii Fit and making my arms and back super sore and uhm... i was making phone calls. Had to change my car insurance because now I'm going to have to drive to work. I have to find a doctor here. I hate that I have to find someone new considering I've really only liked going to one place but since I moved to Calgary. The doctor in Edmonton is pretty inconvenient. I saw my auntie today too and she's doing well. I found out my parents are coming up to Calgary in August. So they will be able to see my place for the first time so that's pretty cool. Hmm... what else.

So I'm pretty pumped for the wedding.. sorta. I wasn't really in it at all and then ..... they found out they needed another usher. So... that's me.. GREAT. and yeah.. I'm really not looking forward to it. Because that means that I have to get there earlier now and seat people when I would just love to sit on my butt instead. But I wouldn't do that to my cousin. The things you do for family so that can't make you feel guilty for it later. Pfft he wouldn't do it for me. But since I'm younger than him... UGH. So enough about me complaining.

I'm so excited for Sunday though!!! Dane freaking Cook. He's so hot. I'm excited that Amanda will be one row behind me too. It's like we are going together but not really but really hehe. Sucks that Blake is going to have to drive back right after it because it would be nice to have the day off but since I'm starting my new job on Monday we don't get the luxury of spending the night. Oh well. AND Blake just found out that he has to be going to training classes so that he doesn't get the Monday off either. I hope we can figure out a way so that both of us have a car for work and stuff.

what a tired day but awesome!!!!!

So today I got a phone call from another temp agency. Finally! I thought they had all but forgotten about me. I was a little worried. I hope that someone is going to give me a job that is actually going to be lasting I duno... till mid November. That would be super sweet but probably not much to hope for. Anyways. I tried calling her back after she called me but she didn't pick up her phone ... it was like she left after she called me. Oh well. Hopefully I get her response tomorrow that I have a job. That would be sweet.

So the reason why I hadn't picked up her phone call in the first place was because I was actually in the gym working on my fitness. Yay for me. Hopefully I can lose my love handles this summer. That would be the bees knees....

Alrighty... Guess what I did!!! Spoiler for Amanda. You are going to have so much fun! Skip this paragraph if you want to be surprised.

Went and saw Evil Dead the Musical tonight. I was the 4th row in!! And I hadn't even bought my tickets for it until like 2 weeks before, so I really lucked out. Totally awesome right??! I got a little blood on me but I was wearing the poncho that they hand out for people just in case. I heard that they had a lot of people covered last night in the 4th row but luckily it wasn't bad tonight. But for the people sitting in the splatter zone. They have all these rules. Because you can't buy anything from the merch stand afterwards and you have to wait till everyone is gone till you are allowed to leave. But I guess if you get as covered in "blood" as much as the 3 rows then it's totally fair. They coooover the people in the1st, 2nd, and 3rd row, but not until after the intermission. The actors actually come and spray you with blood and it was awesome! I have a picture of Blake wearing the S-Mart Shirt($25) with the foam chainsaw which were $10 and totally worth it. I really liked the music. It was hilarious! The guy who plays Ash is totally hilarious!! I was actually happy with the way the whole performance played out. I was entertained from beginning to end and I laughed and clapped and wished I could sing along too.

Tomorrow is Evil Dead the musical.
I'm pumped!! WOO!

Then Friday. Going to Edmonton.

Saturday afternoon I'm going to go and visit my cousin and her little baby! I'll be sure to take lots of pictures of her and put here on here. I love her so much and it sucks that I don't really get to see her grow up. I have to wait for special occasions and Christmas pictures. Same with my other family. Like the whole reason I'm going down to Edmonton is so that I can see my sister's grad. I'm excited that she asked me to go. It's going to be fun to see her. I'm DD that night too. So I'll remember everything and take lots of pictures. Actually, Blake will probably be taking lots of pictures and I'll be trying to take the pictures. Haha. I say that because as soon as I have the camera I'm not doing it right so he takes over. He's a pro at photo taking. :P

Speaking of Blake... he's sleeping. It's cute. We were suppose to be playing on the Wii Fit but then for some reason we both grabbed our laptops and Damn! My number 1 button fell out again. Stupid laptop. It only stays working for so long.

Okay... so it's been awhile since I last wrote in here. Why do I feel guilty for not updating it. It's not like I really leave the house to do anything awesome. I've been stuck inside... when I'm not out looking for a job. So nothing really has been happening... but! here's my weekend.

Friday.

Blake worked late so I made him pork chops and we ate and then decided to go for a walk on Friday night to Dairy Queen. It was a nice date night. We don't get out of the house much and I have no idea why not. I mean we live just a few blocks from 17th Ave. It's the Red Mile. I have a lot to do with it. Mostly because I don't really care for bars anymore. It's not really awesome anymore. I don't get along with the crowd. It's weird. But!

Saturday.

Blake wanted to go to a Farmers Market. It's the big one that you see but can't remember the name. I think it's Calgary's Farmers Market on Crowchild but maybe it isn't. But anyway we found on on Blackfoot. So many strange names .... no wonder I can't keep them straight.

Then we met up with Dan and Rachel. Yay. I love those guys around. It sucks that they are moving though. I'm definitly going to miss them. We went and saw Angels and Demons. SOOOO GOOOD!!! Then we just had an easy night. Nice stuff.

Sunday.

Blake and I had plans... away from each other haha... I went out for brunch with the girls and it was really awesome. I hope I get invited again! And..... Blake went out golfing. It was lonely at home because I was out for the morning while he was gone for the whole day.

Pretty exciting weekend huh?

Anyways... So I went for an admissions interview with CDI college on Monday... It went well and I passed there entrance exam but after talking it over with Blake it doesn't seem like it's the right time. It's okay. I will go back to school more than likely when Blake is in Bonnyville or when we both can afford to go. I myself feel like if I can't pay to go why should I be allowed to take out a loan when I already have bills and responsibilities. It's complicated.

Tuesday I applied for job online. But I guess that I'm just going to have to wait it out.

Same with today. I went out and looked for job around Chinook area. Guess I'm just going to have to wait it out and see what happens there.

But yeah .. I guess that basically catches us up. I have to put these pictures in here because I just like... did a super happy dance and I think everyone that sees it will to... minus Blake.

Tuesday right? Not Monday?

The weekend went by fast. It was good though. Saw Star Trek, it was awesome. I am pretty excited for a sequel. It would be good. We also went shopping and bought pots and pans. So now when we cook, it won't smell like burning plastic. I also bought tickets to Evil Dead the Musical.. I hope it's not actually scary at all. I can't handle that.
Like the weekend, today went by fast too. It was like I blinked and it was over practically. I got A Bad Mother's Handbook in the mail today! Yay!! Watched it on a laptop because its set to region 2 so couldn't watch it on a DVD player. Also got Abby's tags. She hates them. So I didn't make her wear it long. She starts rolling and running, it's pretty cute.

The Office season finale was awesome. Yay for Jim and Pam!! And 30 rock was good.
What other finales did I watch..... Gossip girl rocked! Oth was lame.. Didn't really like that one ....how I met your mother finally felt like it was going somewhere... Uhm .. I watched all that tv last night. I'm excited for Gary unmarried and the new adventures of old christine tomorrow.
90210 was good. I think Annie hit someone in her car. But was she drinking already or did she just have to booze. It was pretty funny watching her explode like a volcano like hot Liam said. Uhm... Yeah okay super lame talking about all the tv I watched. Hahaoh well..

Whaaa jay leno makes 18 million a year. That's nuts! Yeah I'm watching jay. It's only a couple more weeks left. It'll be sad. But it'll be nice to see Conan again! Yay!!!!

wednesday... watching rules of engagement. too funny

Yay! I'm pumped for scrapbooking tomorrow. I hope this actually works out. Haha. I never thought to be creative before. But this is something so that I can get out and relax. That's what I need.

I had a really unproductive day today and I loved it. I got up around 8 and then I had some cereal and some tea and watched The Little Mermaid, A Cinderella Story, Sleeping Beauty and Kung Fu Panda(I mostly slept through this one), but it was nice. I love Disney/teen movies, not just as a guilty pleasure. I don't care who knows. Haha.

Okay, so it sound like I just laid on the couch and watched movies/slept, but, I mean obviously I did to something around the house... I did the dishes... (actually I ran the dishwasher and then put them away, hehe and I scrubbed the floors because they were dusty. I hate HATE hardwood. I definitly will be getting carpet the next place we go to. Which come mid- November we will be moving again. So it wasn't totally wasted. Plus, I did the laundry yesterday so there really wasn't anything to do today. 10 days till I start working. Yay!

Man, I'm so angry with this laptop. The 1 button has been falling off since I got it back and it was fine before I gave it to BestBuy.

Haha Blake just called me and said that he has Friday and Monday off and wanted to look at trips and go to Vegas. I have already told him to forget about it because we can't afford to do that plus! his friend Dan is at home all alone because his lady had to go to England for family things. Which is sad and I told him that we could all hang out this weekend and.... because we would have to leave tomorrow and I want to go scrapbooking. He said that he knew that I would say no because I'm a planner. Haha.. he knows me too well.

Anyways.. I have to go to the store to get bread. We are having eggs and bacon for supper. Yummers!!!

tuesday

So today was a pretty productive day. I got a job but Blake didn't seem very happy even though a job is better than no job. Sometimes I just want to scream! Ugh!

Anyways... I had a lovely time visiting the girls at work. I miss that place and it's only been 12 days. I saw the girl that took over my office. Lame sauce!

I can't believe that it rained today! Of course it did though because I was walking. It was super cold and windy and rainy.

I'm excited for 90210 tonight. But in a way I'm not because I wish that there was more episodes. I hate summer for that but I'm pretty excited for Big Brother!!! Yay!
How sad is my life when I'm only excited for tv shows...

I haven't worked out yet today but! I walked a pretty far distance today so I'm pretty pumped because of that.

Good day mate!
Had a mildly productive day. I went for an interview today. Yay! It was a pretty informal interview. I just have to play the waiting game. Ugh! It's so hard to do! Anyways...
Then I did some house cleaning... And really... That was the extent of my day. I really need to work. Even though I do enjoy hanging out with my kitty. :)

Yesterday I worked out for a bit! Yay! Nothing today though but I do need to get serious about it. I am not losing weight from my diet that's for sure. I was reading somewhere that I have to eat fish... Gross!!!! Maybe only halibut but that's expensive fish.. Uhm yeah...

I'm excited to go to Edmonton tomorrow. We are going to leave earlier too. That'll be good. We will actually be able to hang out with family/friends. I really miss Edmonton alot. Plus everyone there is getting pregnant and I'm missing everything. Oh well..

I have read the Twilight Saga...again... for the 3rd time. Crazy! I'm I obsessed? Probably. Do I care? Nah.. I'm I super pumped for the New Moon trailers that are coming out Mid June/July?! HECK YES!!!!
It's all Erin's fault! I am more obsessed with it then she is I'm sure. And she's the one who introduced me to it.

He he... Cinco de Mayo... I didn't even know what that meant before but it's really what you would think... it's spanish for fifth of May. How stupid do I feel!
Speaking of Spanish! Little Ashes is going to be shown here in Canada. Yay! I'm going to go to see it. But I doubt that Blake will be coming so I'm hopefully going to convince Mandy to come.

Aw. Sad news.... I made the dreaded appointment for my little baby Abigail. She's going to be getting her girly parts removed next Monday. I hate doing it.... but it's the right thing to do. So.... my losing weight before the wedding isn't going so well yet. I have a month before the wedding and even sooner is Erin's grad dinner. I got invited! Hehe... I'm awesome....
I got off topic... anyways... it's not going hot... in fact it's going no where. UGH! Why did I leave it to the last minute to decide that I wanted to actually look good for this thing!!
I have no dresses picked out for either occasion yet, and!! I don't know what to get Erin for a grad present. She deserves something. I just don't know what. When I figure it out I guess I'll post it here.... hopefully she doesn't read this.. Hehe. Blah!!!

Anyways.... Going to go play with Abby. She might never be the same again! :(

I love how I spoke too soon. Yesterday on my way to work, I get this phone call. It's a number I haven't seen in awhile so I picked it up thinking... what does she want.
She was calling to tell me, my friend Colin Bason died in Afghanistan today. I was just .. dumbfounded. I can't believe this. Out of the all the people there. Why.. why did it have to be my friend. Someone I knew.. and the funny thing was... I heard about it all day, reading it and watching the news.. but it didn't click.
Other then that, I just don't know how I feel... it's just soo much.

SO... today when I went to go and use that lovely little pre sale "password" for Matt Good, the freaking thing says there are no tickets available... I'm just like.. frick! So... I'm going to keep trying.. and uhm... hopefully tomorrow I get awesome tickets. Grrr..
That's my dealio today..

But to leave on a more pleasant note... Crop circles are Chuck Norris' way of telling the world that sometimes.. corn just need to lie down. Hahaha It's funny.
