ugh working a week without a computer and internet... why don't you just kill me.

So quick update in point form: I've got other things that I want to talk about but I can't let things not get written about.
Stuff I bought: I got my wicked awesome tealight tray!! yay! from Karen, who quit Partylite and so we got the sweet deals of her selling her stuff! I got 3 new pairs of sandles from Old Navy! and I got my Entourage season. Abby got her new water dish (I think she hates it though, haha)
Stuff I watched: ALL OF THE ENTOURAGE SEASONS!! YAY!!!, Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, soo good! I totally haven't read any of the books so I was bothering Amanda the whole time. Thank goodness she had already seen it. (the best part was Charlotte falling asleep! haha)
Stuff I did: Not a whole lot since I was watching quite a few things. But Blake bought Wii Sports Resort and that's the reason I'm writing, because I'm too sore to play again tonight. Canoeing was so much fun but so tiring!
Alright so now I'm to get to the reason I'm writing for real!
So this week has been interesting. Hmmm....
Okay... well I mean I got a new job. But I'm already not really sure of it. I like what I do because it seems like I'm doing nothing. I wouldn't complain either if I was really doing nothing. But my supervisor has been kinda lame. She tells me to not bother her in her office but I have nothing going on... so I'll be sitting at my desk just waiting and she'll come up and be like... okay why aren't you doing this. Grrr... frustrations!! It's my first week lady! You have to tell me what I'm suppose to be doing because I don't know the company like you do. FUCK!
Ahhhh... at least I have somewhere to get this stuff out. I tried talking to Blake about it and he already doubts that I'll stay the whole time, he thinks I'm going to quit, which I'm not. I would never quit. I need a job and this just happens to be the only 1 around right now.
Other than that... I got my computer finally today... no internet, yet! I'll hopefully get that tomorrow.
But who cares. It's actually not the thing on my mind right now.
Today, Blake told me that we are heading to Saskatoon Saturday morning.
His Aunt Cindy is not doing so well. She stopped taking the chemo awhile ago and today we find out that she could not administer her medication and she got a fever and started throwing up. So they had to rush her to Saskatoon hospital. So, the only thing we can do is just go and see her and give her support to get through this and just hope for the best. :(
So, it sucks that I ended on a sad note but I had to talk about it. Well... at least I can say that it can only get better right? Well... later days!

Now I can finally relax! I have a job now. http://www.exprogroup.com/ AND!!! It's downtown. AND!!! It didn't take me long to find one either. Mostly because Jamie did the work for me on this one. I just went for my interview, tried to be as pleasant as I could possibly be and it worked in my favour. Yay!!!
All in all, this was a pretty good week. -minus these blisters I got from walking around downtown in that heat with heals on. :P
I'm just so happy and really proud of myself.

So what's happened since last Wednesday when I updated. Well... honestly I can't really remember what happen on Thursday or Friday for that matter. Mostly me working and then just coming home and being bummed out that I didn't have a job. But Saturday was awesome - minus the Roughriders losing the game. :( - But I really had a lot of fun with girls going to get tattoos, and the fact that I finally got pictures of the artist doing it because it was like a free for all with pictures being taken, haha. SOO... when we went to Okotoks to visit Chris and Brandy they had no idea about the tattoo thing and I'm glad we went and told them about it because it's such a great cause!! So they got theirs! Between the girls I went with in the morning and them we contributed $700. I'm really proud of ourselves! :D

Monday was kind of depressing because it was my first day without a job and day 1 always sucks more, but I still went out and applied at a few places. But no calls.

Tuesday was my birthday! Blake had to work and I had to look for a job. So the morning was a bust. But when I picked Blake up from work we came home and had a drink and then walked to Chianti's on 17th and had a very lovely dinner. I had fettucini alfredo (no meat because I forgot to ask) and Blake had some pasta curry concoction. He said it was good, I believed him. :| I got a lot of text messages/ facebook messages. But 2 phone calls is all I got. I guess with the computer and phone having texting avaliable people rely on that more. It's weird though not getting phone calls. After dinner, Blake and I came home and watched Coraline. It was awesome and I plan on buying it now because with the blueray you get 4 pairs of 3d glasses! Wicked right?

Wednesday I got a call from Jamie saying she had a job for me and the rest is history.
I also watched SYTYCD last night and it was awesome because Ellen was on and she was hilarious! But the dancing was freaking amazing! I don't want anyone really to go home! I have no idea who they are going to be picking for America's best dancer... or how they could even possibly chose just 1. It's crazy! Anyways.. tonight it the 100th episode so that's very exciting. Katie Holmes is dancing!!!

So... there it is. I'm excited for tomorrow because Amanda and I are going to be meeting Karen @ Chinook and I get candle stuff! :) Plus, Amanda wants to look for shoes and I'm down for that! I wanna get a new pair of flipflops:D Then who knows what's in store for the weekend. Maybe I'll be able to buy all of the Entourage seasons. :D EEEEE....

So this past week/weekend was good.

Tuesday night I had my sisters come up from Edmonton and we went to Taylor Swift on Wednesday, her concert was totally awesome! 8 outfit changes and all of them were dresses. Haha Best concert I've been to all year.

Thursday I dropped Blake off at the airport drunk, because it was his last day of the week and he was going to Saskatchewan to fish. I'm so jealous that he gets Fridays off. :( Man, would I love to have Fridays in the summer off! I could have too if CNRL would have just kept me.

Anyways, so Friday I came into work and worked the day and right after that I headed on out of this city to Edmonton. It was a nice and quick drive thankfully. I got in at 6:30 and had some food at Blake's parents place and then went over and visited my parents. I stayed and chatted with them for awhile because my dad was being a whiner baby because I hadn't visited in a month and a bit and then I took off with my sisters to my cousin Kimi's place and there we had a campfire. Then I went back to Blake's parents place and slept.. :)

Saturday felt like quite a busy day. I woke up. Went to Walmart for bins for Blake's mom because they are going to Emma Lake and she needed more and then we went out to Ricky's. Yummy I had the French Connection. I order it and it's not even on the menu. Hehe. After lunder @ 2pm (lunch and dinner) my sisters and my auntie Paula went out and saw The Proposal. It was freaking hilarious and I'll definitely be buying it when it hits the DVD shelves. Then I went and saw my cousin Kimi and her baby Cailyn because she was sleeping the day before. This time she was wide awake and super cute! She can say Auntie and Please and ThankYou. Adorable!!! :D I wish I could be around to see her grow up, but it's a little hard when you don't even live in the same city. :P After that I went back to my parentals and had some food and watched a Entourage marathon (thanks you guys, :P like I needed another show to watch).

Sunday I woke up late around 10am because I wasn't in any hurry to get back to Calgary since I was the one who was going to be driving, so Blake's mom wanted to go out for breakfast, so we went to Mugginz. I had a tasty breakfast and then headed over to my Nana and Papa's house where my auntie Paula was also visiting. So I got to visit them all and they got to meet my kitty Abby. Hehe. Then I basically made a couple more visits to my cousin Kimi's and my parents house (even though they weren't home but Katie and Graham were). Then I made my 2 and a half hour drive to back to Calgary. I got into the city and went to Peter's for some supper and then ate that and had a nap. Haha. By the time I woke up it was time to get Blake from the airport. But his flight was a little bit delayed but he got in around 11. So it's all good. He brought back fish, even though we still have fish from the last time he went fishing in Sask. :P

Monday was a shitty day. I came into work. Well tried too.. my pass card was expired so I had to wait till someone came and got me from the doors. Lame sauce. Then I sat down at my computer and was locked out. Same thing... Expired. So I'm sitting there waiting for my boss and he comes and tells me that this is going to be the last week. Friday is our last day. I was pissed off to say the least. Ya know if I was to quit it would have been a two week notice. And even on the Friday before the weekend he said we would still have 2 weeks left. Grr... So Yeah.. but oh well right?

Tuesday I get a call fom the temp agency saying they have a contract so that I can start working on Monday but I have to like .. apply for the job. I don't know when I'll be able to do this phone interview if I'm chosen. Oh well. Guess I'll just have to wait and see. Either way, I still have to find a job whether it be my temp agency finding it for me or me finding it on my own.

So today, I really am looking forward to Saturday. Tattoo day! I'm nervous but I'm excited. Butterflies!! :D:D

Well.. I might as well pretend to work here for the rest of the day. I doubt anything super exciting is going to be happening. :P So... later days!

So, this weekend was really good. Karen's party was a great time and Blake seemed to enjoy himself too, even though he was nervous to hang out with people he has never met before. But he went down to the basement and rarely came up for air after that. Why would you when you have Rockband/Guitar Hero and a keg? Haha. I'm glad though, because that means that we can all hang out together now! Huzzah!

Sunday was good for me too. I love just chilling at home and relaxing. Blake and I had brunch on the patio of Fiore Cantina yesterday and I had a delicious Baked Egg Wrap. I'd definitely get it again too. Yummers. Then we went grocery shopping. After that, I came home cleaned up the house a bit and had a nap. Blake made me supper, ribs.. *drools* and then we watched some movies on Movie Central. In the middle of this wonderful perfect relaxing day, Abby decided it would be awesome to eat floss! It was a little piece of floss, but still! Grr... I was so mad at her I think she knew it too. I hope it comes out of her belly in her poop because I can't afford to take her in for surgeries. I'm freaking myself out though I think. I'm sitting at work worrying about her because I would prefer to watch her all day and make sure she's not acting weird.

Doesn't help that I'd love to be home because I have a headache and my tummy feels weird like I might be sick. Hehe.

But right now, I'm just waiting on my supervisor so that I can have my work all completed and get on to the next part of the project with allocation of different products to the different stores. So that should be fun. :P I'll be happy when it's all said and done though. At least he acknowledged us today though.:D

So I'm off! Time to pretend to look busy. :D

Blogging from my phone.

So I was going to blog yesterday but watching movies / napping got a hold of me so I didn't.
I went out and got myself a new book! Yay! I'm going to read Julie & Julia. Exciting! I've already read a few chapters and it's pretty good, it's about Julie who is writing a blog about cooking. So I obviously wanted to blog about the new book. Good thing I already had one started. Hehe I'm so lame but I don't care.
So I'm excited to go to Karen's birthday partay tonight. Blake isn't going to be drinking tonight though hehe... he got home from drinking last night at 230am. He called me from the Safeway parking lot to come get him. I was already sleeping for about an hour and a half so I wasn't happy. He slept on the couch too, (thank goodness, because he smelled like booze :p) , but because the bed is too soft and makes him dizzy. Haha
I'm just doing laundry (feels like I do laundry every other day) and reading now till it's time to head out. Good times! So later days!

busy busy month of july...

So it's Thursday but it's like Monday. Yesterday was like a fake Friday and fake Sunday. I'm so exhausted today because of it. I can't even look at the computer right now because my brain is all over the place. Good thing that I really don't have to work right now. Okay so I'm at work and we get this email saying that we can't even use the program that we use for everything because it's like on emergency shutdown or reboot or something. So I've been sitting around since 10am playing Bejeweled on my phone. Good times :)

Tuesday night, I picked up Blake from work, and we headed to Chinook. But he didn't get off work until 6pm so we didn't catch the 630 movie like I would have liked to. We went to go and see Transformers. Which was awesome! We ate and had a good time then we went home because we had to catch the 8pm show. I don't know about you but I don't like getting out of a movie at 11 or 1130. Gross.

So yesterday Canada Day! was super unproductive. But since it was a day off I didn't care. I went out and washed my car inside and out but the outside didn't look that good because I didn't use the stupid foam brush. :P Lame sauce. Anyways. So after that I was at home watching movies and doing laundry. Basically I chilled at home and watched a few Mike Myers movies (Canadian eh?) and Definitely, Maybe (Ryan freaking sexy Reynolds) again! :D

(Because of course the weekend that I rent this movie it comes on Movie Central everyday! haha)

But I had wanted to go out and watch the fireworks. But since it rained all evening there were no fireworks. :( Only pretty rainbows (I saw 2 right beside each other!!) But Blake and I had chilled and we started talking about my tattoo situation again. I don't know if I've mentioned this but I wanted to get a tattoo on my wrist and Blake wasn't happy about this. He said I can do what I want but that he wouldn't really be happy looking at it on my wrist. But! We have come to a compromise. I'm getting it on the back of my neck! A nice lavender ribbon! :D I'm super pumped.
